A great deal of medical billing is handled overseas. Ours is not. Every claim, every payment, and every piece of patient information we touch stays within the United States. We operate in accordance with HIPAA and handle data securely at every step. When you hand a billing partner your patients' records, knowing exactly where they go should not be something you have to ask twice.
No Black Box
The risk in outsourcing billing is losing sight of it. You hand over the function, the reporting goes quiet, and by the time you notice a problem it's been one for months. Roman Empire Revenue Cycle Management began with something Gabrielle Roman could not stop noticing. Across several years of providing administrative and virtual support to healthcare professionals and small businesses, she watched practice after practice lose revenue somewhere inside its billing, with no one on staff who had the time or the training to find out where. So she stopped taking general work, narrowed to that problem exclusively, and built a firm around it.
What Gabrielle Brings
Gabrielle holds her RCMS certification and the Certified Professional Biller (CPB) credential through the American Association of Professional Coders. Her experience spans medical billing, insurance claims management, revenue cycle operations, and virtual support, with a focus on denial management, where practices most often leave money uncollected. She works closely and transparently, building around each practice's workflows rather than forcing it into a template.
